A FAITHFUL LECTURER
On behalf of the faculty, board members, the entire staff and students of Spread The Word Bible College, an affiliate of Patriot Bible University – U.S.A, we wish to express our sincere condolences to the family of our beloved brother, and lecturer, Rev. Ken Okungbowa, who has passed onto glory on the 26th of July, 2020.
Until his demise, he was a faithful servant of God, a great Pastor, and an astute lecturer, who was a friend to many other Pastors across the globe. He was a perfect gentleman, a good listener, a dedicated and kind-hearted man of God.
A GREAT LECTURER & A PASTOR
Rev. Ken Okungbowa joined Spread The Word in the year 2004, through our ongoing Bible distribution Project. He helped in the distribution of thousands of Bibles, Hymnals and Books to those in need.
He was a lecturer and a supporter of Spread The Word for 16 years. He specialized in lecturing the Old Testament. Our students described him as a helper, brother and friend, who always took delight in helping students to have a balanced concept of theological awareness and a clear understanding of the Bible.
In one of our last conversations, we deliberated on the need for students to know more about God by giving their undivided time and attention to an intense theological study, as his desire was to see Preachers preach the Bible as their sole authority for faith and practice.
I have had the privilege of preaching for him at his Church. He was indeed a trusted friend and a burden bearer, whom I have known for many years.
